Joining is free. Verification is mandatory, and activation happens only after the campaign identity, evidence and Stripe destination pass review.

REQUIREMENTS

What must be ready

Five active campaigns is the maximum. A completed application does not guarantee activation.

  1. Legal identity

    Provide the organisation’s registered name, registration number, legal form, official address and authorised representative.

  2. Independent evidence

    Provide a current registry record, governing document, identity evidence for the authorised representative and proof that the official bank account belongs to the organisation.

  3. Campaign purpose

    State who benefits, the exact use of funds, the requested target and a realistic delivery period. A campaign target cannot exceed RM 5,000.00.

  4. Payment destination

    The organisation must control a verified Stripe connected account that can receive MYR transfers. DISIAR does not redirect the 20% to a personal account.

  5. Direct donations

    Card donations use the verified recipient’s Stripe connected account. Public receipts show the donor’s chosen public name or anon#### label, donation amount, exact Stripe fee and net received after settlement.

  6. Tax status

    If claiming Malaysian tax deductibility, provide a current subsection 44(6) approval reference and expiry date. No tax benefit is implied when approval is absent.

  7. Ongoing proof

    Publish receipts, transfer confirmation and a use of funds update. Material changes, expired evidence, misleading claims or unresolved complaints can suspend the campaign.

  8. Conflicts and safety

    Disclose related parties, fundraising agents and conflicts. Prohibited activity, personal enrichment, sanctions risk or unverifiable beneficiaries are rejected.

  9. Individual emergencies

    A verified parent, guardian or applicant may submit an urgent case. Identity, relationship, consent, hospital documents, treatment estimate, target and updates are required. A lawful approved recipient must receive payments.
